The City of Cave Junction operates a new state-of-art wastewater facility. It provides treatment and disinfection for approximately 1 MGD of wastewater from residences and businesses, to levels specified in the City's National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES0 Permit. The Wastewater Plant is currently designed to serve a population of 2,980. The facility is expected to reach its design capacity when the population reaches 4,740.
