Updated Curbside Recycling Guidelines Now in Effect
Recycling has expanded across Oregon thanks to the Recycling Modernization Act, a statewide effort designed to make recycling cleaner, simpler, and more consistent.
Residents can now recycle more items in their curbside carts, including plastic bottles, round plastic containers, buckets, and rigid plant pots, as well as aluminum and steel cans and small scrap metal items (less than 10 pounds and 18 inches). Cardboard, cartons, and mixed paper products are also accepted.
For complete details, please review the Curbside Recycling Guide. For those without curbside service, the Kerby Transfer Station Recycling Center accepts a variety of recyclable materials. Please refer to the Kerby Recycling Center Guide for more information.
