UTILITY CLERK I/II
Job Summary
The City of Cave Junction is seeking an organized, dependable, and customer-focused individual to join our Administration Department as a Utility Clerk I/II.
This position performs a wide variety of administrative, clerical, accounting, and customer service duties that support the daily operation of City government. Responsibilities include utility billing and customer accounts, cash receipting, permit and license processing, Municipal Court administration, Planning support, public reception, recordkeeping, and administrative assistance for multiple City departments.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with the public, managing detailed records, solving problems, and becoming an important member of a small municipal team.
Hours: Full-Time (40 hours/week), Non-Exempt
Salary: Placement within the Clerk I or Clerk II salary range will depend upon qualifications and experience.
- Clerk I: $3,886.13 - $5,208.67 per month
- Clerk II: $4,080.27 - $5,468.67 per month

Desirable Qualifications:
- Hight School Diploma or GED, Excellent Customer Service and Communication Skills, Experience Using Microsoft Office Applications and Standard Office Equipment, Valid Oregon Driver License, Ability to Obtain Oregon Notary Public Commission Within Six (6) Months of Appointment.
