Municipal Court
Driving violations and Municipal Code violations cited within the city limits of Cave Junction are heard by the City of Cave Junction Municipal Court conducted at City Hall.
Court is scheduled on the third Wednesday of every month, at 6:00 p.m. Trials are usually scheduled for 6:15 p.m.
Defendants are responsible to note the court appearance date, time, and location reflected on the bottom of the citation issued.
Court dates and times are subject to change.

Prior to the appearance date, submit your plea by complying with Violation Options 1, 2, or 3 listed on the back of the Oregon Uniform Citation & Complaint (ticket) issued at the time of the offense.
- Appear before the judge at the time designated on the citation.
All payments must be in the form of cash, check or money order. Payment agreements are available upon request. If approved, a $15.00 processing fee is included.
Traffic school may be available based on the type of violation and the defendant’s driving history. Qualifying defendants will be required to pay their traffic fine in full plus an additional non-refundable $75.00 application fee.
Course information is provided upon receipt of a completed application form and payment in full. Defendants are allowed 90 days to complete the course. Upon the courts receipt of a Certificate of Completion, the traffic violation is dismissed.
